2008 Exhibition
402 exhibition booths joined CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2008 in a total area enlarged by 45% compared to last year.. This year’s exhibition space and booth number marks also the peak of all previous years. The trade show attracted a variety of foreign and domestic
companies and institutions.

Trade Show Area
CHINA MINING Congress & Expo’s trade show attracted a lot of foreign and domestic companies, including mining and exploration companies, mining technique and equipment suppliers, geologists as well as banks and legal consulting firms.

Countries Area
Several countries, including Canada, Australia, and South Africa established pavilions located in the exhibition area at CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2008. In addition, there were many delegations from Mongolia, Chile, Mexico and the Philippines. The total booths number in this area reached over 100. This area provided and exciting environment for delegates looking for investment opportunities and potential business partners.

Chinese Government Area
With varied forms and contents, Chinese Government Area represented by The Ministry of Land and Resources showed that China has achieved substantial results in the area of mining during recent years. The presence of government representatives illustrates the commitment of the Chinese government to improve mining co-operations with foreign partners. In addition, the Achievement Exhibition of CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2008 took also place in this area.

Equipment Exhibition Area
This area was crowded with lots of equipment suppliers companies such as Atlas Copco, Jinchuan Group Machine Manufacture, Beijing Exploring Machinery Plant, Cortech Drilling Equipment, Lianyungang Huanghai Machinery Factory, Shandong Huate Magnet Technology, Longji Magnet Co., Ltd., Zhongda Bright Filter Press and Qingdao Techking Tires Ltd. There plus many exploration and mining machinery companies like Excellence Pump Industry Co., Ltd., Hubei Xiangyang Zhongliang Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Hualong Mining and Metallurgy Equipment Co., Ltd. The equipment exhibition was of interest to both - the producers and purchasers – because it combined the information on product innovations with the chance to meet new business partners and build up new professional networks.

Chinese Government Area
At the 2007 show CHINA MINING incorporated a special Government Exhibition Area. This gives off a good reflection and consideration of how important the Chinese government is to doing business in the country. The presence of government representatives illustrates the depth and commitment to improving mining cooperation with foreign partners.

Equipment Exhibition Area
This area was dedicated to equipment supply companies such as exploration, drilling, and mining machinery, and there was appropriate space to exhibit any items at the event. The equipment exhibition is of interest to both producers and purchasers as many new products are new to the industry and many companies are always looking for potential business partners.

CM2011 Review

2011 Conference

The 13th CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2011 took place in the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center on November 6-8, 2011. It consists of three parts - Conference, Exhibition and Coherent Events. Government officials, industry leaders, and experts from both Chinese and foreign mining industries had in-depth mining discussions on questions related to the mining industry during the conference. The topics covered Mining Industry Trends, Mining and Finance, Mining and Macroeconomy, China Outbound Mining Investment, Sustainable Mining, Mining Commodities, Geological Survey, Mining Technology and Equipment, etc. The exhibition contained China Land & Resources Government Area, Major Mining Country Areas, General Mining Area and Special Construction Area. It provided a trade platform for the equipment producers and buyers; moreover, it offered unique business opportunities for mining exploration companies and all-related services providers. The 6th CHINA MINING Awards and Gala Dinner together with other coherent events, such as Signing Ceremony of project investments and Government Welcome Dinner, etc. provided outstanding networking opportunities for the participants.
